The Killers are plagued with breakup rumors following guitarist Dave Keuning's statement that the members are moving forward with their solo careers.

And while fans were left disappointed believing that the American rock band is disbanding, making it impossible for them to work on a new album, frontman Brandon Flowers debunked the rumors claiming that the band is "fine."

The 34-year-old musician told Rolling Stone, that the strong friendship of The Killers members makes it impossible for them to part ways.

"I get it," Flowers explained after hearing rumors of a breakup from the band. "There are a couple of remarks made by Dave [Keuning], our guitar player, that made it sound a little bit more ominous than it really was. And so it makes people wonder. But, no, everything is fine."

In fact, the band played in Life is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas, ABC 13 Action News reported.

And while they are also busy with their solo careers, Flowers talked about the changes performing on stage without the band during a recent interview with Pop Crush.

"I can't believe it's been five years," Flowers explained. "Being onstage without them...it is different. I try to look for the similarities rather than dwell on the differences, because I need that comfort, I guess."

And while it's still uncertain, Flowers is not discounting the idea of making a new album for The Killers.

"I've been used to more of a polarizing situation, and that usually goes in my favor," he explained. "I think if somebody really hates it or people really love it, then it usually works out. But this time it's been a lot more positive and I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing."

"I don't think that far! I don't know where The Killers are gonna be, and where our head space is gonna be after each record."
