Although the main focus is on the two, they are not the only ones James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and the rest of the police force will be busy with.
On the sidelines are crooks that can give the authorities headache. One of which is Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) who in the latest episode already established a connection with the Penguin.
Jessica Lucas, who plays Tabitha Galavan a.k.a. Tigress, said it is possible her character will lay the backdrop for the ascension of Selina Kyle and possibly transformation into the popular Batman on-and-off villain Catwoman.
"Sure, there was conscious thought put into her look and how it was going to relate to someone else, a very famous someone," she said during the NYCC panel as reported by Comic Book Resources.
Selina's run-in with Alfred and seeing Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) with wealthy kid Silver St. Cloud (Natalie Alyn Lind) could also trigger Selina to find her own identity.
"That's sort of one of the things that starts playing out in this storyline," Lind told IGN.
"Cat stars getting kind of jealous because Silver's not only a new girl but she's very similar to Bruce. And so you might start to see a more sensitive side to Selina because she gets upset over him finding someone who's so opposite from who she is."
