Amir Khan - Manny Pacquiao fight has little to no chance with the way things are going.

Just recently, Khan revealed he will no longer pursue a fight with the Filipino fighter because he thinks Pacman's camp is stalling.

The 28-year old is relentless in looking for a blockbuster bout and so, he is setting his sights in another formidable boxer.

Khan revealed that after talks of supposed fight with Manny Pacquiao collapsed, he is now targeting former WBA champ Danny Garcia as replacement.

"Garcia would be an awesome fight, that fight would be something I would love to take and we will be looking at that," Khan told ESPN. "There's a lot of unfinished business."

Amir Khan also said he wants his next fight to happen by first quarter next year.

"When I do fight it will be in January or February," he said adding there is a possibility for it to take place outside of the United States.

"I don't know where, there's a lot of interest in the UAE, there have been talks about doing an event here [UAE], but it depends where the best deal could be done."

Chances of an Amir Khan - Manny Pacquiao fight showdown is getting slimmer as time passes by. Khan said he will not wait for Pacman although he is still hopeful.

"I'm just working on getting the best fight for myself and hopefully it will be Pacquiao but nothing has been moving forward," Khan said.

"Pacquiao is a fight I really wanted but we have to look at other options. We've already put the word out I need a new opponent and hopefully will have something next week."

Pacquiao made it known that he will run for a senate seat in his country, the Philippines. This is while he also serves as a head coach of a local, professional basketball team. Top Rank CEO and Pacman's promoter Bob Arum said this new goal of Pacman could get in the way of his boxing career.

"He can't [mess] around and take off to go into a training camp for three months if he's in office as a senator," Arum told Los Angeles Times.

"Senators do most of the work in the Philippines. They have to be there virtually every day. He knows if he's a senator, he can't fight."
