Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV is recalling about 180,000 SUVs and pickup trucks in two separate recalls, according to a report from The Detroit News.

The recalls are due to a risk of fire for the SUVs and potentially faulty rear axle for the pickup trucks.

The Detroit News said that the automaker is recalling close to 94,000 2015 Jeep Cherokee to investigate after the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration received two complaints of smoke and fire.

The automaker discovered that the air conditioning lines in some are vehicles are too close to engine's exhaust manifolds.

The Detroit News adds that under certain operating conditions, the air conditioning lines being too close to the exhaust manifolds could pose a fire risk.

Fiat Chrysler will be inspecting, and if needed, replace the vehicle's air conditioning lines.

ABC News adds that customers, who lose air conditioning or see a dashboard warning light in their vehicle, should contact their dealers.

Most of the SUVs being recalled are in North America.

ABC News adds that Fiat Chrysler said that they don't know of any injuries or crashes related to the fire risk.

Aside from recalling Jeep Cherokees, Fiat Chrysler will also be recalling 86,000 2015-2016 Ram pickup trucks, according to ABC News.

The automaker said that they will be inspecting and, if needed, replacing the rear axle shafts or rear axles in the vehicles.

The Detroit News adds that an investigation has found out that the axle shafts produced by a Tier 2 supplier may not have been properly heated.

The issue could cause wear and overheat and if ignored, could cause wheel separation.

The Detroit News adds that Fiat Chrysler has already reported one crash, but no injuries were tied to the issue.

ABC News adds that the Ram pickups to be recalled are mainly in North America.

Most of the 2015 and 2016 Rams are still at the dealers.
