Evan Peters' Quicksilver easily became one of the most favorite characters in "X-Men: Days of the Future Past," most especially with the character's slow motion scene where he brought down a number of Pentagon guards; in a recent interview with Details, Peters revealed that Quicksilver will definitely have a share of the spotlight in "Apocalypse."

"It's the biggest X-Men film ["Apocalypse"]. It's about the apocalypse, so the scope of the film is huge," Peters told Details.

He further dished out in the interview details about the reprisal of his role as Quicksilver and how his storyline for "Apocalypse" will be significant for the film, as a whole. He said, "The story is that my character is searching for his father and wants to find him. It starts there and then he jumps on the X-Men train and gets sucked up in this whole Apocalypse madness."

His father, as it is known, is Magneto [Michael Fassbender] as referenced to Quicksilver's line in "Days of the Future Past" when he said: "They say you can manipulate metal. My Mom used to know a guy who could do that." And Peters finally dropped the bomb when he told Details that Quicksilver and his father Magneto is bound to battle against each other in "Apocalypse."

"He [Quicksilver] tries to stop him from destroying the world," Peters told Details. This may have to do with Magneto becoming one of Apocalypse's mutant guards, the Four Horsemen. It was previously reported that Magneto will be joining Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Archangel (Ben Hardy) and Psylocke (Olivia Munn), who together formed the Four Horsemen and consequently, Magneto will have to sacrifice himself for the X-Men.

Meanwhile, "X-Men: Apocalypse" director on Monday teased fans on a new trailer that may be coming very soon. On Instagram, the director posted a picture of him and film editor John Ottman (and James McAvoy's Professor X in a screen) in the cutting room with the caption: "Back in the cutting room w #johnottman teaser coming soon."
