‘Pokemon Go’ Release Date Set Next Month? Developers Trying To Connect The Game To Previous Franchises?

New rumors suggest that "Pokemon Go" release date is set next month.

Developers of the next "Pokemon" franchise are still mum about its official release date. However, in a report from Realty Today claimed "Pokemon Go" gets an earlier release, as PC Advisor previously speculated that it could be on Nov. 20. While some rumors suggest that it will arrive on early 2016.

Meanwhile, there are speculations that after its expected release date the game might be incorporated to other "Pokemon" franchises since Nintendo and The Pokemon Company are still involved on the game's development, Moviepilot reported.

"[Masuda] is hard at work ensuring that the fun of Pokémon makes its way into this new project and is also looking to come up with new kinds of gameplay while thinking of ways to connect this project with the main series of Pokémon video games," The Pokemon Company said in a statement.

"Pokemon" fans are also hyped with the "Pokemon Go's" announcement as its trailer which teased fans how the game works in the real world has reached over 18 million views on Youtube as of this writing.

In addition, the upcoming "Pokemon" franchise will be an augmented reality game for iOS and Android devices as a free-to-play game being developed by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company along with Niantic which supplies the AR technology, HNGN reported.

"For the first time, Pokémon will roam free in the real world. Pokémon GO will allow players to capture Pokémon who inhabit parks, shopping areas, sidewalks and the countryside all around the world. Imagine discovering a Squirtle hiding along the waterfront in San Francisco, a Bulbasaur at Shinjuku Station or a Pikachu beneath the Eiffel Tower," according to John Hanke, founder of Niantic.

"Pokémon GO" will be accompanied by a wearable wristband called "Pokémon Go Plus" which allows players play the game without the need of their Android or IOS device on their hand, PC Advisor reported.
