Amir Khan Ruining Career By Waiting For Manny Pacquiao For Next Fight Says Eddie Hearn

For Amir Khan's next fight, Manny Pacquiao's name is the one that making the loudest noise.

In fact, the British boxer claims he has already inked a contract to push the fight to which Bob Arum, Pacman's promoter, replied nothing is final yet.

Amir Khan vs Manny Pacquiao fight is not yet in the books and respected boxing promoter Eddie Hearn thinks the former Olympian is just wasting his time waiting for a big name to say yes. He also does not think Pacman will agree to a slugfest with Khan, his former sparring mate.

"I don't believe Pacquiao will get in the ring because there's little reward for him," he told SkySports.

"For Khan, there's his biggest pay-day, a fight that will go down in the history of British boxing and a world title on the line. There's talk of Khan fighting Danny Garcia again. Some will feel that's as tough a fight as the Brook fight but I guarantee you the Brook fight will pay twice the money, so I don't understand."

Hearn argued Amir Khan's next fight might not be against Manny Pacquiao since the latter won't get huge profit from it.

Instead, he urges Pacquiao to court Floyd Mayweather Jr. again for a rematch. Pretty Boy won against Pacman last May 2 via unanimous decision.

"Pacquiao should just wait for the Mayweather Jr rematch. The Mayweather Jr 50th against Pacquiao would be the biggest fight in world boxing. It doesn't matter that the first fight wasn't very good - you can build that fight back up easily," Hearn said.

"The Amir Khan fight is the one everyone talks about. Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao say they're in the mix for the Kell Brook fight but I don't believe that in a million years. I don't think anyone in Pacquiao's position wants to fight Kell."

Pacquiao, who is in Dubai, has already commented on Amir Khan's challenge and said he has no preference yet for his next fight which he said will be his last.

"I have no preference, it can be anybody - it depends on the negotiation," he told Sports360. "There is Amir Khan, a rematch with (Floyd) Mayweather, (Danny) Garcia or (Terence) Crawford."
