Tonight's episode is all about Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) as he faces a hitman.
Captain Nathaniel Barnes (MichaleChiklis) of the GCPD will also continue to hunt Gotham City's most notorious villains, Comic Book revealed.
And in his efforts to eradicate the bad people and bring peace back in the city, Gordon will come face to face with Eduardo Flamingo (Raul Castillo).
In their altercation, Gordon will almost lose his self preservation as he came close to killing Flamingo.
Elsewhere, Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) and Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), will finally join force after Nygma accidentally found Penguin hiding after being wounded from a confrontation with Theo Galavan (James Frain).
Episode 9 will see Nygma giving shelter to Penguin until he gets better, and it could be this time that Nygma would become a full-blown monster as he learns more evil doings from Penguin.
Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) on the other hand, will continue to hunt for his parents' killer as he put pressure on Galavan, who is the key to finding the real killer.

"Gordon comes face-to-face with a dangerous hit man while he and Barnes continue to cleanup Gotham; Nygma and Penguin cross paths; and Bruce pressures Galavan to hand over the name of his parents' murderer."
