Following her first ever defeat from Holly Holm at UFC 193, will Ronda Rousey finally leave coach Edmond Tarverdyan?

Rousey's coach received backlash after his reportedly inappropriate remarks during the end of first round.

According to Fox Sports "many are pointing the finger at coach Edmond Tarverdyan for his role in the former champ's shock knockout in UFC193 in Melbourne on Sunday."

According to commentator Joe Rogan Tarverdyan's words of encouragement were "crazy talk," which other UFC fans widely shared as well.

And according to Roy Billington over at Bloody Elbow, the only way Ronda Rousey could gain her championship title is when she decides to leave coach Edmond Tarverdyan, claiming that he's not really the best coach for her.

"It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Tarverdyan isn't the best coach in the world, all you need to do is to look at his other students," he explained. "Jessamyn Duke went from prospect to punchbag under his tutelage and Ronda Rousey's man friend Travis Browne, seems to have lost a level of skill since shipping up to Glendale."

In fact, Ronda Rousey's mother AnnMaria De Mars already publicly claimed that Tarverdyan is "a terrible coach."

"I think Edmond is a terrible coach, and I will say it publicly," De Mars said in an with interview with MMA Junkie.

"I think he's a terrible coach. I think he hit the lottery when Ronda walked in there."

In fact, Holly Holm's coach Greg Jackson seemed to have called Tarverdyan's approach as "predictable" after Sunday's loss.

"It was pretty much what we thought would happen," Jackson said of the fight.

"Obviously, she's an amazing athlete and we have nothing but respect for her, but she's been very successful doing the same things for a long time, and we were able to capitalise on that.

"The other coaches and I got together, and we're not fans. We're not like, 'Oh God, Rousey is the greatest ever.'

"It's just a math problem to us. So it's hard to understand the perspective just because this is what we do for a living. This is my job to figure it out."

However, Ronda Rousey have yet to comment about her coach and her decision after the fight.
