After one year of marriage, George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are reportedly planning to start a family already.

Previous reports suggested that the couple visited a fertility clinic just to get the international lawyer pregnant. They were even rumored to have considered IVF. However, it seems that they are having a much harder time than anticipated.

A previous article from OK Magazine said that Mrs. Clooney was too absorbed with her work to focus on conceiving a baby.

"Amal's career is taking a huge toll on her body. Amal has always been an overachiever and doesn't like to slow down, no matter how much George begs her to," a source previously explained. "She barely has time to even think about eating -- and George is really concerned."

"George never expected to find the happiness he has with Amal so is now open to the possibility of becoming a family man," an insider reportedly told Closer Magazine, via International Business Times.

"He and Amal have both said they love the idea of adopting a child in need in the future and have spoken to Brad and Angelina about this," the source added. George sees the bond Brad shares with his children and he wants that too."

On the other hand, recent rumors reported that George Clooney and Amal are already expecting their first child but are keeping it a secret because they're scared of complications that may arise.

Whether they're adopting or expecting their first baby, they're reportedly excited to start their family already.

"They've already started preparing and told pals how they've built matching baby wings in both homes, complete with a nursery, a baby spa, a playroom, children's library and quarters for their nanny," the source further revealed.

E! News also said that George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin have a "secure relationship" despite their very busy schedule.

"George still has all the fun he had when he was a bachelor, but it's better now because he's doing it with Amal, who's his best friend," the site said. "The weekend was full of fun and giggles with friends. They've not morphed into a boring couple who just stay in and don't ever do anything."
