Wal-Mart Post-Black Friday: Apple iPhone 5C $27 With Two-Year Contract From AT&T, Verizon

Apple's iPhone 5C smartphone will be a mere $27 when it hits Wal-Mart stores Friday on Straight Talk Wireless, and Net 10  The Washington Post reported Thursday.

The promotion is part of the store's Post-Black Friday Savings event, which will also have Apple's iPhone 5s priced at $127 with a two-year contract on AT&T and Verizon the company said in a press release. The iPhone 5c will be in white, blue green, pink, and yellow.

"When we reported our record-breaking Black Friday results, we said we weren't done yet, and we meant it," Duncan Mac Naughton, chief merchandising and marketing officer for United States Wal-Mart said in a statement. "As our customers count down the final days until Christmas, we remain focused on offering them great prices and the hottest gifts to place under their Christmas trees."

The Straight Talk Wireless four week plan with no contract required includes unlimited nationwide, talk, text, and data for $45.

Consumers can include endless international calls to over 1,000 places such as Mexico, Canada, and India.

Net10 has wireless no-contract friends and family plans. These begin at $50 with the first number. Each additional one costs $40.

All numbers do not require a contract for the 30 day plan which include unlimited nationwide talk, text, and data usage.

Apple predicts it will sell 33 million to 36 million new iPhones during the fourth fiscal quarter also known as the holiday quarter in a projection that could top 50 million.

Consumers can also get video games including Call of Duty Ghosts, Battlefield 4, Assasin's Creed Black Flag, Grand Theft Auto 5, and NBA2K14 compatible with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for $39.96, Monster headphones for $79.95, and a Vizio 70-ich LED Smart HDTV for $1,498, down from $1,698. All items are also for sale on Wal-Mart.com.
