Ahead of the official announcement to "GTA 6" PS4 release date, reports claim that its location has already been leaked.

Tech4Gamers reported that Rockstar has now secured a U.S. location to the highly anticipated car heist game sequel.

But president Leslie Benzies previously stated that the game developers were looking into a London location.

"For this one we were down in London and the idea of the three characters popped up again," Benzies told Develop of "GTA 6's" location.

"We'd actually considered it for 'San Andreas' because there were three cities, but it didn't work from a tech point of view because the three characters need three times as much memory, three types of animation, and so on."

In line with the release date news, Benzies added that "GTA 6" will continue the story of the three lead characters who are introduced in the fifth installment of the gaming franchise.

"We throw stuff in the pot, and the good stuff stays and the bad stuff disappears - there are a lot of gatekeepers at the studio, who ensure not much of the chaff makes it through," he explained. "Some of the good ideas, like the three characters, stick around."

More details about "GTA 6" suggest that the game is going to be set during the 1970s era, The Latino Post claimed.

While this details has yet to be confirmed, the publication added that Rockstar could aslo be introducing new money generating missions like "having a job like joining the army or the police" because such missions "will give a more real feeling in the game."

While GTA6GrandTheftAuto, noted that when "GTA 6" release date comes, players could see the return of the six wanted levels, which was reduced to five in the latest installment of the title.

"GTA 6 game engine can support destructible sceneries and the innovative idea is to think like battlefield where we can crumble some wall down or maybe explode some building with an airplane," the publication explained. "This idea seems little bit simple but it will add more realism and adventure to the game."

"Grand Theft Auto series is famous for all insane amount of violence which players had during the game play and all this excitement can be achieved through Wanted Levels only," the website added.

While there's still no official announcement to "GTA 6" PS4 release date, The Fuse Joplin is betting that it will most likely come between 2018 to 2020.
