Should fans expect for a new album coming from the original 1987 line up of Guns n' Roses?

While many were crushed when some of the members decided to leave and pursue with their solo careers, Australian promoter James Young has reportedly teased of the possibility of a Guns n' Roses comback, Consequence Of Sound reported.

"I heard the most amazing rumor this week, from a very well-informed heavy hitter in the Australian music industry," Young said of the band's would be performance for the Soundwave Music Festival 2016. "So what mega band could it be? I heard on Wednesday night that it would be Steven Adler, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan, Slash and Axl Rose - the reformation of the original 1987 Appetite For Destruction Guns N' Roses!"

Despite the exit of DJ Ashba and Bumblefoot this year, Richard Fortus is confident that fans could expect big things from the band next year.

Axl Rose and Slash have reportedly reconciled, making the new album more possible than ever.

"It was probably way overdue, you know," Slash said regarding things being clear between him and Rose in anotherConsequence Of Sound report. "But it's.... you know, it's very cool at this point. You know, let some of that, sort of, negative... dispel some of that negative stuff that was going on for so long."

Slash has however remained tightlipped of the new album for Guns n' Roses.

"Oh, I couldn't answer that one, though...," he added.

For the meantime, Slash is reportedly busy with his solo album.

Loud Wire reported that the 50-year-old guitarist is now working on the tracks for his new album.

"I live for live performing, but I can't perform live if I don't record," Slash said of his new album. "The stuff for the next record is really great. One of the cool things about this band is that instead of peaking early and burning out is we've started at one place and escalated in terms of our creative inspiration."

Adding, "It keeps getting better from record to record which is a really nice thing to have happen so yeah, we just seem to get more in a groove the longer we stay together and the harder we work on the road and so on. It just seems to come out in the new material."
