Is Nicki Minaj and Jennifer Lopez fighting?
The American Music Awards (AMAs) showed us Jennifer Lopez still got it. But the internet seems to think Nicki Minaj is unimpressed by the "Feel The Light" singer's version of "Anaconda."
Jennifer Lopez kicked off the AMAs, dancing to all of this year's hottest hits, including Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda." While J-Lo set the stage on fire, popping and booty-shaking, however, the camera cut away to the "Super Bass" rapper's face.
Many people assumed that Nicki Minaj's reaction at that moment (although she had a poker face) was her way of starting a fight and throwing shade at Jennifer Lopez for daring to twerk to "Anaconda," which incidentally, was one of the reasons Minaj got in a Twitter feud with Taylor Swift a few months ago.
According to Hollywood Life, Minaj was so allegedly annoyed by the whole thing, she was seen flipping her hair and rolling her eyes after giving her acceptance speech for winning the AMA's Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album. She was also hailed Best Rap Artist in the show.
The fight allegations however, was belied by Nicki Minaj herself over Twitter after a fan posted a meme of Jennifer Lopez dancing to "Anaconda" with the caption: "Damn JLo... Nicki Minaj facial expression says it all... We still love u doe,"

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj took to Twitter to thank Ariana Grande, adding that the time given for an acceptance speech was too short during the AMAs.
"I wanted to thank Ariana for coming thru @ the last minute for me. The AMA's has a timer this year. No long speeches. Lol #ThePinkprint," Minaj wrote.
Meanwhile, there's no word yet on what Jennifer Lopez thinks of the whole "Anaconda" issue with Nicki Minaj at the AMAs.
