Porn Studios Drop James Deen After Rape Accusations By Porn Actresses Stoya, Angel Fires & Tori Lux

Things are looking grim for James Deen, a popular male porn star considered by many as the Ryan Gosling of the flesh film industry.

Days after James Deen's ex-girlfriend and former co-star, Stoya, revealed via Twitter that Deen had raped her while they were in a relationship together and following the confessions of sexual abuse by two other porn stars, Tori Lux and Angel Fires, several porn studios have decided to sever ties with the "feminist hero of porn."

On Nov. 30, James Deen resigned from the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee (APAC) wherein he stands as the chairperson.

"APAC recognizes the seriousness of the statements made by performers in the community and that they indicate a major conflict between a board member and other members of the organization," APAC said in a statement, Monday.

"The APAC Board wants to state unequivocally that we stand with performers and other sex workers who are victims of any sort of sexual assault. APAC is committed to being a safe space for performers, and to creating a safer and healthier industry."

BDSM pornography studio Kink.com where Angel Fires was allegedly raped by James Deen, also announced that they will no longer be working with the adult film actor.

"For the Kink.com community, as well as the larger BDSM community, consent and respect are sacrosanct," the porn studio announced. "Effective immediately, Kink.com will cease all ties with James Deen, both as a performer and a producer,"

The incident had also led Kink.com to re-think their safety standards for their performers and assured to "strengthen rights of performers off-set, and work with larger industry to help performers who have been assaulted to more easily come forward."

The Frisky also announced that they will stop publishing James Deen's sex advice column, "What Would James Deen Do?"

"I'm fucking heartsick over it," said The Frisky editor, Amelia McDonnel-Parry. "This makes it impossible for me to work with him any further, to give him a forum for giving advice that he is accused of not following himself,"

James Deen drew flak after his ex-girlfriend and fellow porn artist, Stoya revealed on Twitter that she was raped by him.

"That thing where you log in to the internet for a second and see people idolizing the guy who raped you as a feminist. That thing sucks," Stoya wrote. "James Deen held me down and f*cked me while I said no, stop, used my safeword," she continued. "I just can't nod and smile when people bring him up anymore,"

James Deen denied the rape and sexual assault allegations made by Stoya, Angel Fires and Tori Lux.
