"As 2015 winds down, pop-culture-defining brands VH1 and Entertainment Weekly are teaming up to toast and roast the trailblazers and epic pop culture moments that kept us thoroughly entertained all year long. Now that we have your attention, you'll have to tune in Monday, December 7 at 9/8c to catch all the action.
This year's bash will honor quadruple threat Amy Schumer, 'Empire' star Taraji P. Henson, Hollywood powerhouse Elizabeth Banks and the breakout cast from the most successful music biopic of all time, 'Straight Outta Compton'.
VH1 Big In 2015 with Entertainment Weekly will be held at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles, where our star honorees will be treated to a friendly roast by their "squads" - no seat fillers here! Celebrity friends will pack the house, giving viewers an intimate look at the real lives of their favorite talents. And with a room of A-list talent, you can expect a huge celebration filled with buzzworthy moments that you won't want to miss.
The event marks the return of VH1's 'Big In... Awards,' and the honorees will be featured in 'Entertainment Weekly's' 25th anniversary 'Entertainers of the Year' issue, on sale November 24.
