It's been almost a year since Limp Bizkit has teased the release of their new album.

Still, the American metal band has failed to have anything on the shelves until now.

In a Facebook post made last January, Limp Bizkit claimed that the process is already in its final stages.

The new album titled, "Stampede of the Disco Elephants" is still nowhere to be found.

And while Limp Bizkit fans are already getting worried, guitarist Wes Borland has offered to share details about the band's progress in recording.

In an interview with Team Rock, Borland explained the cause of delay.

"Fred [Durst] has been working on vocals in his home studio nonstop for months and months," Borland explained. "He's told me that he's almost finished, but I don't know what amount of the 28 songs has been finished. I know that he re-records and trashes vocals all the time."

"I don't know, I think he's in a mode where he's liking something that he's doing and not liking other stuff," he added. "But I think he's just now starting to feel a lot more confident in what he's putting in the songs."

Despite the unavoidable delays, Borland did assure fans that there will definitely be a new Limp Bizkit album to be released.

"To be blatantly honest about it, the new album has gone through so many different alterations and so many different session," the Limp Bizkit guitarist said. "I mean, we've gone into five different studios now. I think we're up to 28 songs, or maybe even more. And those are completed songs."
