'Wizarding World Of Harry Potter' On Universal Studios Hollywood Soon To Open In April

"Muggles" and "wizarding students" alike will be glad to know that Universal Studios Hollywood has announced on Tuesday their new attraction, the "Wizarding World of Harry Potter" is set open its gates April of next year, CNN reported.

Also part of their big announcement is a tiny detail on what guests would expect and that it would look like a bit of Hogwarts castle. The castle will be the main point of the attraction.

The company reassures that the new and upcoming attraction will be faithful to the books and movies as it is inspired by the J.K. Rowling's stories and the subsequent Warner Bros. films.

"The momentum behind J.K. Rowling's wizarding world is as strong as ever and we are incredibly excited to bring Hogwarts to Hollywood," said Brad Globe in a press release Tuesday. Globe is the president of Warner Bros. consumer products.

The Hollywood attraction will be more or less similar to the "Wizarding World of Harry Potter" attractions at the Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Japan, according to USA Today.

Visitors can expect a total immersive themed land that will bring fans to the Harry Potter world with its visual landscape of the fictional stories and films.

Attractions included aside from the aforementioned Hogwarts Castle is the "Flight of the Hippogriff," which is slated to be Universal Studios Hollywood's first outdoor coaster.

A 3D show that will make you feel that you are watching Quidditch while you sport a Quidditch-inspired glasses as well as let you escape a dragon attack and a close encounter of the Whomping Willow - all in truly realistic 3D-HD.

Lastly, the "Wizarding World of Harry Potter" will include actual shops like Honeydukes, Ollivanders, Owl Post, Zonko's Joke Shop, Wiseacre's Wizarding Equipment, Dervish and Banges, Gladrags Wizardwear and Filch's Emporium of Confiscated Goods.

The "Wizarding World of Harry Potter" will be open to public on April 7, 2016.
