Another Marvel character is coming into your TV screens as "Daredevil" series pursues production. Eyed to be released on May 2015 on Netflix, actors have been flooding in to fill the cast roster. Latest addition is Deborah Ann Woll, known for her portrayal of Jessica Hamby, a newborn vampire in the HBO series, "True Blood". Are we hoping to see Marvel's "Daredevil" spoilers afloat online?

In the long life of the comic "Daredevil", a few attempts on producing a TV show has occurred over the years. Apart from numerous animated shows on TV, there was one live-action penned in 1983 by  writer Stirling Silliphant (known for his work on TV series "Naked City", but was never released.

Apart from Daredevil's appearance in the television movie "The Trial of the Incredible Hulk" in 1989, neither a stand-alone TV series nor movie has been created, dedicated to the blind superhero.

It wasn't until 2003 that director Mark Steven Johnson released the "Daredevil" movie starring Ben Affleck under 20th Century Fox. Although the film received mixed review from critics, with Rotten Tomatoes reporting that only 45% of the critics gave a positive feedback, the film opened as a box office hit. However, succeeding weeks produced a constant decline in sales. "Daredevil" (2003) grossed at $179 million worldwide.

Disney and Marvel partnership announced in 2013 that a "Daredevil" series will be aired on Netflix. Early this year, Steven S. DeKnight was named show runner of the series, and Charlie Cox as the new Daredevil or Matt Murdock. Since then, numerous Marvel's "Daredevil" spoilers have surfaced online.

Charlie Cox is known for his work in "Stardust", a Neil Gaiman novel adaptation. He led the film as Tristan Thorne. He is also seen in HBO's "Boardwalk Empire."

Character actor Vincent D'Onofrio, known for his work in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" will play the villain/arch-enemy to Cox's character,  the Kingpin. Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Matt Murdock's love interest. And although most Marvel's "Daredevil" spoilers have been plainly speculative, bred from the comics, most probably are correct as far as the characters are concerned.
