'Boob-Aid': A charitable event like the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge had been widespread worldwide and increased awareness about ALS or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. It had been viral on social media challenging celebrities and politicians all over the world. Reports said it raised $93.4M since July 29(when it first started) and benefited research in finding cure for ALS.
Nine Japanese female porn stars have co-organized a charity event, and getting ready to have their boobs squeezed by their fans in 24 hours. According to news.com.au this annual event was launched in 2003, now loosely translated as 'Boob-Aid', to provide finds for the fight against AIDS.
The porn stars had told the local media on Monday they can no longer hold their excitement for their "Stop- AIDS" fund raising campaign. Reports said participants must be 18 years old and above, must sanitize their hands before the "squeeze-a-thon" and are limited of two squeezes.
The said 24-hour event will be televised live on an adult cable channel in Japan from 7pm on Saturday, and is supported by the Japan Foundation for AIDS Prevention.
"I'm really looking forward to lots of people fondling my boobs," Rina Serina told Tokyo Sports. "But I would be very happy if you would please be delicate."
"It's for charity," said 21-year-old porn star Iku Sakuragi. "Squeeze them, donate money - let's be happy."
"I never thought my boobs could contribute to society," Serina said.
The country has one of the lowest rates of female workforce participation in the developed world, News.com.au reported. Lack of child care, poor career support and sexism are often blamed for keeping women at home.
