Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: What has Microsoft got to offer?

Microsoft Corporation is now getting ready for the IFA and started sending invitations for their press conference. We are now expecting two phones to debut on the event: the Nokia Lumia 730 codenamed "Superman" and "Telsa" for Nokia Lumia 830 ( codename Telsa means affordable high-end smartphone.) Speculations about the launch of another phone, Nokia 735, also arise.

Reports say that the Nokia Lumia 730 will soon be recognized as the ideal "selfie phone", with a 5MP front camera and 4.7in screen. One of the rare phones that has 5MP front camera, just like the HTC One M8. The phone also comes in 3G and 4G variant.

There has been a leaked  photo of Nokia Lumia 730  from Windows Phone Central that shows a bright green shell and onscreen buttons. It only indicates that the phone might no longer have side buttons.

Its rumored technical specifications are: 4.-inch 720p display, 1GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 8GB internal storage, and Lumia "Debian Red" firmware OS.

The Nokia Lumia 735's might just have little difference with the Nokia Lumia 730, like its network connectivity.

The Nokia Lumia 830 is reported to be an affordable high-end smartphone with  a 4.5inch and 720p screen display,  20.1MP PureView camera, SD card support and other mysterious features that will be announced soon.

All phones will run a 2,600mAh battery which is a bit disappointing; and a Carl Zeiss camera lense that might be the three phones' selling point.

There are minimal details on the Lumia phones, but it looks like the upcoming Nokia Lumia phones are all mid-rangers compared to the powerful flagship phones that are out in the market today.

The IFA will start in a few days. So, let's just wait and see what Microsoft can offer to the Android and Apple dominated market. Stay updated and watch out for more upcoming Nokia phones this 2014!
