Over the years Google Nexus devices have proved that they're one of the powerful phones that are in the market today.  These devices are considered Google's flagship Android devices.  Nexus phones are co-manufactured by different cellphone companies. The latest is the Nexus 5 that was launched last year, was co-manufactured with Asus and upcoming Nexus 6 will be a Motorala-built.

Nexus phones are a bit pricey compared to other high-end phones, but still it's a worth it device to buy as it is packed with exceptional specifications. Also, it is one the few high-end smartphones that is recommended by the Android Open Source Project for Android software development.

The Motorola-built Nexus phone was formerly called 'Shamu'. Shamu will be one of the eight new flagship phones that will be launched by Motorola before Christmas. According to a report from Phone Arena the device that was internally referred to us is the Nexus X with the model number XT1100.

The Nexus X is reportedly to feature a 5.2inc or a 5.9 inch display. QHD aka 2K display resolution (2560x1440p), with a pixel density of 500 plus ppi.

The leaked specifications are Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 (APQ8084), a quad-core processor which can clock a top CPU speed close to 3.0GHz and relatively 3GB RAM. Which sounds like one of the most powerful android device. The rumored Adreno 420 graphics engine  would be  a great advantage from competitor' flagship phones.

The Google Nexus X will be available in two storages variants, a 32Gb and a 64Gb version.

As we all know the Nexus 5's weak point was its camera.  The camera of Nexus 6 is a little upgrade compared to the Nexus 5. The Nexus 6 will offer a 13.MP on its main camera and 2.1Mp on its front.

There were no official announcement yet, but it is expected to be launched on October 31 like the Nexus 5 was launched on the same date last year.
