A curved wearable device is on the horizon, hinted by ASUS.

The company released a teaser photo that shows a curved design of the smartwatch, and a saying "Time has been transformed, and we have changed." by Khalil Gibran a Lebanese artist, poet and writer.

Talking about transformation, we'll be expecting an innovation on smartwatches especially on the Asus ZenWatch as it is manufactured by a leading computer manufacturer .

According to Engadget the Asus ZenWatch will sport an AMOLED display, like the Samsung Gear Live.

Engadget added, "ASUS had also hinted that it could use gesture controls in a smartwatch on top of the usual taps and swipes,"

There were minimal information about the Asus Smartwatch but it will surely have a head to head battle with its competitors like Samsung with its various Samsung Gear models, LG with its G Watch, Motorola with its upcoming Moto 360 and lots more.

There were also reports from TechCrunch that "pricing for the [ASUS] device will likely be between $99 and $149 when it launches,".

If this reports are true Asus smartwatch or Asus Zen Watch will be less inexpensive than its competitors and could only mean that the Asus smartwatch will change market in terms of price range.

The Moto 360 will be a great rival too as it is also announced that it targets the mass market.
