Samsung revealed another Galaxy Note phone at the IFA the new Samsung Galaxy Edge.
The pre-conference of Samsung at the IFA was a different approach as a band performed in the stage and the keyboard was played in a Samsung phone that was displayed in the big screen to introduce their two flagship phones and new Samsung Gear.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note Edge boasts a 5.6inh screen which is smaller than the Galaxy Note 4. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has an exceptional design as it is enclosed in an aluminum frame. Its screen will be its selling point as it has an additional curved on screen display at the right edge that displays separate strip of screen notifications.
There are various short cut controls that are more functional in the separate strip
the clock can be accessible even when the main screen is turned off, and camera controls and video settings are easier to control on the strip mode. It is more convenient to view notifications on strip mode as you will no longer switch on the main screen. The strip mode can also be converted to a ruler which is quite amazing though most users won't be needing it.
Like the Galaxy Note 4 the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge sports an innovative S pen designed by Montblanc.
Battery life is increased by 7.5 percent compared to the previous Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and it boasts a new fast charging feature.
Snap Note is also a useful feature for students. The new trend in taking notes at school in just 3 easy steps take a picture of the notes on the blackboard, tilt correction, trace the text and paste, and edit. There you go you've got your own notes without a pencil and paper!
This phone is a perfect phone for the selfie addict with its 16 MP rear camera and a 3.7 MP front camera. It also offers a 120-degree angle shot that can be activated at the back of the handset.
There is no official announcement of its price and availability in stores.
