The k-pop industry was in shock after hearing the accident involving girl group Ladies' Code, which caused major injuries that needed surgery for two members and the unexpected death of one of their members, EunB.

The group was heading back to their dorm after attending the KBS 'Open Concert' in Daegu. Initial reports state that the accident was caused by a tire blowout, but according to police's new findings, the driver tried to avoid a collision with another vehicle causing their own to skid the slippery roads during the heavy rain.

In a statement to Star Today, Polaris Entertainment - Ladies' Code's agency has revealed, “The vehicle was being driven for the first time on the day of the accident. We are extremely upset that after experiencing problems with our managements vehicle, we received a new car from the rental center and still a tragedy like this occurred.”

BTOB paid their respects at a later time due to their schedule of activities. They were said to be very close with the girls as they have shared promotional activities in the past. BTOB’s member Peniel was reportedly the most affected by the news.

All the members of Super Junior were present at the memorial service held for EunB at Korea University Anan hospital along with other artists such as Dal Shabet, Secret, B1A4, Kara and AOA to name a few.

Here is a heartfelt message from one of Super Junior's member Kim Heechul:

"I met EunB, who has left to heaven, for the first time today through a picture. She was very cute, and seeing her smile kindly brought tears to my eyes. The person who is having the hardest time more than anyone, EunB’s mother, said 'EunB, your seniors came to see you, EunB.'and comforted us instead, and watching that made me feel very sad and many thoughts passed my mind. To be honest, I have been thinking a lot since yesterday… whether I should post on SNS or not about this tragedy that doesn’t feel like anyone elses business. What I want to say is, please make sure to wear seat belts. We, more than anyone else, have personal ties with car accidents. 8 years ago, when I had a car accident, if I wasn’t wearing a seat belt… Even I have times where it feels bothersome to wear a seat belt but I think about the past and always wear one. I want to say this again, so I am leaving a post like this.. I sincerely hope EunB resst in peace and for those around EunBg to become happy. And I hope RiSe, who is still going undergoing treatment, to wake up soon. Our member Kyuhyun said when he was in an accident, he wasn’t conscious for 4 days.. and that RiSe will definitely wake up.. Really.. Like Kyuhyun’s words.. Like Kyuhyun.. I pray that she will have strength and wake up."

Ashley and Zuny - who experienced minor injuries attended EunB's wake as well. Sojung is already in. A stable condition while Rise is still reported to be unconscious and is still in the Intensive Care Unit.
