George Clooney – one of the most sought-after bachelors in Hollywood is finally getting married to Human Rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin whom he met last September.

In the latter days of April, a source told People that Clooney and Alamuddin, were engaged. “They are trying to keep things very low-key but they also aren't really trying to hide this, it doesn't seem. I think it's like they want the people they love to know that this is real, that they plan on being together forever" the source says.

After a few days, Alamuddin's law firm confirmed the couple's engagement and offered their congratulations. Clooney's mother told the Daily Mail, "You can say I'm extremely happy, Amal's a lovely girl. We weren’t at all surprised when they told us they were engaged, and we could not be happier for them."
Just this week, Alamuddin registered at London’s Chelsea office to formally inform officials that she will wed Clooney in Italy. Checking in with the local registry is part of the legal process for Brits especially since the couple plans to marry outside of the U.K.

With the question of the location of the wedding being answered, people are now anticipating what the bridal gown will look like. The bride-to-be along with her mother and a friend were spotted at the Alexander McQueen headquarters in East London.

According to Glamour Magazine, the Clooney-Alamuddin nuptial is fast approaching and suggests that it may happen this month. An article from the NY Daily News stated that George’s aunt Starla Clooney from Ohio has told reporters that Brad Pitt whom he co-starred with in the movie Ocean's 11 will be Clooney’s best man.
