When a video starts with a person with a bucket filled with ice and water hovering above someone wearing a bikini or surf shorts – everyone knows what’s going to happen next.

A 15-year old boy from Bay Village, Ohio participated in what was supposedly the ice bucket challenge turned out to be a very bad prank.

According to the boy's family, the teen thought he was taking part in the Ice Bucket Challenge to support ALS when he stripped down to his boxers and was doused with a putrid bath of urine, feces, spit and cigarette butts poured from the roof of a garage.

The #IceBucketChallenge has gone viral the past weeks to create awareness about ALS – a disease that causes muscle weakness and impacts physical function. Many people participated in the challenge and posted their videos on their social networking sites – but this video was so disturbing that even celebrities such as Jenny McCarthy, Donnie Wahlberg and Drew Carey tweeted that they will give a reward to whoever finds the culprit of this horrible prank.

Last September 10, police said that they have identified the five teenagers behind the trick who are between 14-17 years old. According to News Day, Bay Village police chief Mark Spaetzel said that the evidence against the suspects will be presented to the Cuyahoga County prosecutor’s office early next week to settle any charges that needs to be filed.

“Regarding the celebrities offering rewards to help find who committed this terrible act, reward money is not necessary as we have identified the participants. However, we are grateful for their offers.”

The boy’s mother found out about the incident through the video that was recorded on her son’s phone. “He was embarrassed because he did not know what the contents were until afterwards and then he didn’t want anybody to know,” she said "They used his phone to tape it, and they put it up on Instagram." she continued.
