The upcoming racing video game "Driveclub" PS4 created by Evolution Studios and released by Sony Computer Entertainment finally has its release date set for October of this year.
According to the official site of Playstation, upon the "Driveclub" PS4 release date in October, gamers will experience "an incredible, authentic and immersive PS4 driving experience DRIVECLUB makes you feel the exhilaration of driving the most powerful and beautifully designed cars in the world; all rendered in staggering detail, inside and out as you race them in richly detailed real-world locations alongside your Club."
Previously set for release for the holiday season in 2013, the racing game "Driveclub" PS4 release date has since been delayed. Fans have clamored for an explanation as the excitement for the game was built up. Director Paul Rustchynsky shares the reason behind the delay.
According to vg247.com, "As a game creator, you'd always love to spend more time to polish things up. I think it's been fantastic that Sony gave us the time we needed to make a game that met our ambitious vision. We understood that we could have pushed out last November, but I think it would have done a disservice to ourselves, to the players and to Sony's high mark or quality."
He continues on about the delay, saying, "We think it was the best thing for the game. It's allowed us to add more tracks, add more cars, polish the handling, polish the visuals and start work on new features which we hope we can introduce very quickly after launch."
The delay of "Driveclub" PS4 release date has paid off according to critics and gamers. A tweet for the director from Twenty-One Gaming shares, "Game looks OUTSTANDING! Thank you for the hard work! Any chance of utilizing the DS4's motion controls for steering."
