Samsung Galaxy A Series: Three Models Under Development, Specs Revealed To Go Head To Head With New Apple iPhone 6

The first metal built Galaxy device announced last month offers premium features as specs have been revealed on the changes and updates of this new face for Samsung. Now, Samsung Galaxy A series composed of three updated devices will be soon out in the market.

Recently announced Samsung Galaxy Alpha has garnered numerous reviews online, mostly positive. Now considered as the smallest of the Samsung's note-sized devices with 4.7 inches, Samsung Galaxy Alpha boasts of a well-built body composed of metal compared to the other devices' plastic construction.

With a release date set for late September or early October near the iPhone 6 launch, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha is reportedly to come out in varieties of Scuba Blue, Frosted God, Dazzling White, Sleek Silver and Charcoal Black.

With all the changes and upgrades of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, the South Korean multinational isn't backing down. A reported Samsung Galaxy A series is on the way, and leaked information states that the official announcement will be coming in a couple of weeks.

According to rumors, the metal-clad Samsung Galaxy A series will be composed of three devices, reportedly SM-A330, SM-A500 and SM-A700. Although the difference in the specs will most likely be minimal, all three anticipated devices will be made like the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, in metal casing.

According to reports online, the Samsung Galaxy A series specs for the entry-level device of the three known as SM-A300 has been leaked through the GFXBench app.

In the report by TechTimes.com on the leak, "The Samsung Galaxy A SM-A300 will reportedly feature a 4.8-inch display with a resolution of 960 x 540 and run Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box. It will be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor and Adreno 306 GPU (graphics processing unit). The handset will include 1 GB of RAM and 5 GB of internal storage."
