Panasonic Lumix CM1: A Smartphone Or A Camera? The New Cameraphone Launched At Photokina 2014

Panasonic Lumix CM1 was launched at Photokina 2014. Panasonic has finally linked its camera brands with smartphones and enters the cameraphone market that was first launched by Samsung. Lumix CM1, is the company's first cameraphone and would be morelikely compete with Samsung Galaxy Zoom and Samsung Galaxy K Zoom. The Lumix CM1 was one of the cameras that caught everyone's attention at Photokina. A two in one device; a smartphone and a camera. This device boasts a 4.7- inch screen display and incredible full HD 1080p display and a 1-inch image sensor, f/2.8 Leica DC Elmarit lens a manual dedicated lens ring, and a hardware shutter button The Panasonic Lumix DMC-CM1 sports a 4.7-inch 1080p display. It boast a 20MP camera and allows 4k video recording but its quite disappointing at 15fps. This cameraphone runs in Anrdoid's latest version powered by 2.3Ghz quad-core Qualcomm 801 chip set along side with a 2GB of RAM. Other smartphones feature include make and take calls, connect to the internet via Wi-Fi and 4G LTE, there's Bluetooth and NFC, plus 16GB internal storage and an expandable external memory up to 128GB. But we hope a more powerful battery rather than its 2,600Mah battery. Its 28mm f/2.8 Leica- branded equivalent wide-angle, and although there's no optical zoom it is possible to pinch or click and drag to zoom in on the screen by up to four times and what makes it a great camera phone is its Venus Engine camera processor. There’s also a slider that easily switches between smartphone and camera modes. Panasonic Lumix Cm1 is indeed a perfect device for the camera enthusiast but it costs an arm and a leg.
