Miley Cyrus Wrecking Ball video might not be enough to capture audiences as the singer reportedly wants to outdo the award-winning singer-songwriter: Lady Gaga.

The twerk queen is reportedly "obsessed" to beat Lady Gaga, and "craves attention", Yahoo! News reported.

A source told British magazine Closer that "Miley constantly wants to surprise people and craves attention. She sees Lady Gaga as the only artist who manages to keep shocking people and has become obsessed with outdoing her."

The source also mentioned that the apparent copying of "The Climb" singer is trying to be achieved by getting the service of those responsible for Gaga's current reputation.

The report noted that Miley Cyrus is thought to have started imitating Lady Gaga last year when the 21-year-old singer posed for Terry Richardson in a stance similar to that of Gaga.

The insider added that Miley "hired Gaga's former stylist to make it a reality and wants to become a new, and even crazier, version of Gaga. She's determined to be even more famous than her."

Recently, Miley was spotted arriving at a party in Brooklyn, wearing leggings and none on top. Her nipples were only covered with ice cream pasties, with matching marijuana earrings.

The "Poker Face" singer has won Grammy Awards since 2010. In August, Miley Cyrus "Wrecking Ball" video won the MTV Video Music Award for Video of the Year. She also shocked the whole world with her performance at MTV Video Music Awards by giving Robin Thicke a twerk while singing "Blurred Lines" after her performance of "We Can't Stop", which according to her was the "best VMA performance of all-time".
