Nexus 9 release date is reportedly set on October 8.

Over the years Google Nexus devices have proved that they're one of the powerful phones that are in the market today. These devices are considered Google's flagship Android devices.

Nexus phones are co-manufactured by different cellphone companies. The latest is the Nexus 5 that was launched last year, was co- manufactured with Asus and upcoming Nexus 9 will be HTC built.

Nexus phones are a bit pricey compared to other high-end phones, but still it's a worth it device to buy as it is packed with exceptional specifications. Also, it is one the few high-end smartphones and tablets that is recommended by the Android Open Source Project for Android software development.

HTC already sent its invites for its October 8 event. Reports claim that it will launch its two new flagship phones the HTC One M8 Eye and HTC Eye on the said event..

4G News claims that HTC will also launch Google Nexus 9 alongside with a gopro like camera that rumored to be a tough competitor of the upcoming GoPro Hero 4. And it was also revealed that the Nexus 9 will will feature a 9- inch 1920 x 1280 Full HD display and the first android tabletto carry Android L. It will offre a16 GB of internal storage, a microSD expansion slot that will support up to 128-GB microSD cards, and include 100 GB of Google Drive cloud storage for two years.

The Nexus 9 will be powered by, "The Nvidia Tegra K1 is a graphics-intensive processor and has 192 Kepler graphics cores. The 32-bit model is powered by a quad-core 4- Plus-1 ARM Cortex A15 CPU, while the 64-bit model runs on a dual-core CPU based on the ARMv8 architecture," from Tablet PC review.
