Former NFL player Stevie Rice kicks off new game with new Wingstop branch in Renton, Washington.

Former NFL wide receiver Stevie Rice ventured into the food business by opening a Wingstop restaurant in Renton, Washington.

To jumpstart the business, the Wingstop-Renton branch will hold a "Take 5" event means customers would get five pieces of chicken wings for free.

The guests can even have the chance to rub shoulders and take a "selfie" with local NFL players.

The restaurant will also feature a Wing Eating Contest coming Sunday, Sept. 21 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Washington boasts of six locations of "The Wing Experts" in the state, all managed by District Manager Gregory Southern II.

"Wing fans in Renton want the best and boldest flavors, and we're here to deliver that," as quoted by Southern.

"We invite the Renton community to drop by, hang out and watch their favorite teams on one of our flat screen TVs, while enjoying the best wings in town with friends and family," he added.

The Wingstop menu offers what it does best: cooked-to-order chicken. The Wingstop menu features different variety of chicken, from the classic and iconic boneless chicken wings to chicken strips.

Wingstop tops its chicken with a smorgasbord of 11 original flavors including Mango Habanero, lemon pepper, Garlic Parmesan, Hickory Smoked BBQ, Cajun, Atomic, Teriyaki, Lousiana Rub and Original Hot.

Side dishes can also be partnered with their world-famous chicken, like hand-cut seasoned fries, made fresh every day from #1 Idaho potatoes.

Wingstop was named "Top 10 Best Franchise Deal" by QSR magazine, and has been consistently put dubbed having the "best wings" awards across the country.

Wingstop of Landing Way is located at 804 N. Landing Way, Ste. A., Renton, Washington

The new restaurant is open from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday-Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to midnight, Friday and Saturday.
