Many fans await the return of The Big Bang Theory Season 8. Finally, the hilarious comedy show is back on Monday, September 22, promising bigger changes in plot and wittier funny lines that made them a TV viewing habit.

Just to spoil the fun, the season opens with two episodes. The Locomotion Interruption will have Sheldon, played by Jim Parsons, robbed when he travelled alone in Bozeman, Montana. The real drama starts with Amy's hurt feeling when Sheldon called Leonard first than her. It ended up with Amy and Leonard picking up Sheldon, and Amy telling Sheldon it's a "good adventure". Sheldon's funny line, "I came out stronger and whiter too because I didn't have direct sunlight for two weeks" is worth watching.

The second episode, The Junior Professor Solution, had Sheldon offered a teaching stint by Mrs. Davis (also back in the season) but the job went to Howard instead.

One major change in the show is Penny's golden locks cut.  In many interviews, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, who plays Penny, said she told CBS, and her husband, Ryan, about the decision to change hairstyle. She convinced the show's producers and writers that they could play it on in the show, which she thinks is a great idea. "I said I think it could be a great change for Penny in the show, and they were really cool about it and on my side, and they wrote it in! So I got, I got lucky," she said during the CBS's 'The Cast Speaks'.  The new haircut also goes with Penny's character putting her acting career aside to work as pharmaceutical representative through Bernadette's company.  The new job fetches more money, which causes conflict on her relationship with Leonard, played by Johnny Galecki.

Other snippets of the season include Raj and Emily, played by staying as lovers, Mrs. Davis played by Regina King back in their lives, Stuart, the store keeper, as caretaker of Howard's mother, and the comic book store.
