"Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor" is the latest LOTR inspired games coming out on September this year. Based on the current reviews, Mordor will not disappoint LOTR fans and gamers.

Lord of the Rings or LOTR for short, was popularized by J.R.R. Tolkien, the author with the same titles. LOTR has spawned a movie trilogy. Even Tolkien's earlier works, "The Hobbit" has also been turned into a movie. The third and last installment of the Hobbit series will soon be shown. In "Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor," this story arc takes place between "The Hobbit" and the "Fellowship of the Rings".

The hero in this game is a Ranger named Talion. He was killed along with his wife and family. A Spirit of Vengeance brought him back to life - sort of. The wraith bonds himself with Talion, in order to become one of the undead. The ghostly bonding has provided Talion with certain unnatural abilities. One such ability enables him to see his enemies through walls. He also has the power to slow down time, in order to improve his accuracy with the bow and arrow. Consume with hatred he goes to Mordor to avenge his family's death.

Although Sauron is Talion's main target, he has to deal with his lieutenants first; however, in order to get them, Talion will need to deal with lower ranking Orcs like their bodyguards and underlings. Capturing will also be essential as you need to get certain information from them.

"Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor" is not a simple Hack and Slash game. Talion will need to be cunning and stealthy even if he has wraith like powers. The game has unique AI, that in case Talion gets killed by an enemy boss, that Orc will remember how he killed you. In your next match, that will be much harder to kill.

"Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor" will be available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS 3 and PS 4.
