'Dancing With the Stars' 2014 Cast: Bethany Mota's Injured Ankle 'Getting A Little Worse,' Derek Hough Says
Youtuber Bethany Mota injured her ankle during Foxtrot routine with Partner Derek Hough in "Dancing With The Stars".
Derek Hough reveals that Mota's injury still not improving as much as they would hope.
"Bethany's [Mota] ankle is not doing great. We're wrapping it and icing it. The problem is you've got to stay off of it, but we don't have time for that. It's unfortunate," Hough writes in his TVGuide.com blog. "We're doing everything we can to try not to make it worse. It was getting a little worse Thursday when she was on it. I'm adjusting the choreography to favor it a little bit and I'm trying to be conscious about it, like I'd go, 'Go to the right, oh, actually, go to your left.' Hopefully she'll be feeling better by Monday."
Next week's show is a Movie Night so Mota and Hough are set to perform a Jazz routine to the song Singin' in the Rain which is an important song choice for Hough and Mota. According to Hough's blog, his first dance routine as a child of 3 or 4 years was set to "Singin' in the Rain"
Bethany Mota is a video vlogger Youtube personality from Los Angeles California with more than seven million subscribers. She also has a clothing and accessories line in collaboration with Aéropostale and goes on the road for tours.
She also partnered with Forever21 and JCPenney.
Mota rose into fame with her haul videos, make-up tutorials, DIY tutorials, outfit ideas, recipes, and hair tutorials, which she uploads, on the Internet.
Dancing With the Stars Season 19 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
