Burger King's new owners, Kansas King Inc., announced the acquisition of 16 locations, including 11 in Kansas and five in Nebraska, confirmed by a marketing representative of Burger King, Jamie Santarella, covering all five Topeka stores.

Kim Beyer, Kansas King, Inc. owner and operator, has worked for the brand for over 27 years in the community and is excited to bring it back to life.

"Having worked for Burger King my whole career, I have a deep love and knowledge of the brand and the Team Members who make each location a success. Many of them will continue to work with me," said Beyer.

"Most of the locations we're buying are in areas where I grew up and are restaurants that I've managed before, so I'm excited to serve the guests and make memories with them for years to come."

According to a press release, the recently acquired restaurants will be modernized, digitally upgraded, outfitted with new order terminals, and remodeled in select locations.

Santarella stated that the specific restaurants undergoing renovations could not be named now.

This process is the next phase of the "Reclaim the Flame" brand strategy, which was introduced in September 2022. The strategy's objective is to collaborate with dedicated operators to update restaurants and enhance the customer experience.

Meanwhile, Strategic Partner and Investor Alex Gouzoun stated, "Coming from the vendor side and having previously worked with the Burger King brand, I am ecstatic to be joining forces with an industry expert like Kim, knowing that together we will provide these communities with a truly unique experience the moment they visit our restaurants."

Burger King reported that Gouzon has four years of brand experience and nearly two decades of industry experience.

In addition to Lincoln and Beatrice, Nebraska, the duo will supervise locations in Topeka, Manhattan, Junction City, Salina, and Pittsburg. Collectively, they will have decades of experience within the franchise group.

There are selected locations that will undergo renovations to enhance the overall experience. Meanwhile, the franchise group hires managers and team members for some areas as current employees are retained.

Additionally, Beyer stated that she has an extensive history of community engagement and is eager to bring this to every community she serves.

Burger King has always put its customers first by using only the best ingredients, coming up with new recipes, and making sure all of its places are safe for kids. They help their franchisees make the right choice so they can start building their business. There are many franchises to choose from.

As Burger King continues to spread its name across the country, it stays competitive by offering franchises for people who want to open new stores or buy more than one.

They also give them access to great tools and knowledge, and with Restaurant Brands International's help, they get even better.
