Reviving a holiday favorite, McDonald's introduces its latest adult Happy Meal toys, a collaborative effort with the renowned DJ, designer, and streetwear icon Kerwin Frost.

Combining memories with charity, a portion of every sale will directly support the Harlem Arts Alliance (HAA).

McDonald's has introduced six distinct McNugget Buddies, each creatively designed by Kerwin Frost. Known as the 'Mayor of Frost Way,' Frost is at the forefront of this initiative. He is recognized for his steadfast commitment to the McNugget Buddies, as well as his passion for art and dedication to community improvement.

Happy Meal Dreams: McDonald's New Toys Contribute to Helping Others

In a statement reported by AdAge, Frost shared his long-standing affection for McDonald's, recalling fond childhood memories. "Ever since I was a child, I've been a fan of McDonald's. I even took my Ronald McDonald doll to school on picture day. My dream was to collect all the McNugget Buddies," Frost said.

He also expressed his excitement about creating his own set of Buddies, each symbolizing different forms of self-expression, describing the experience as both surreal and a fulfillment of a childhood dream.

"Now, coming up with my own special set of Buddies - each one representing different aspects of self-expression - it's unreal, a dream come true," Frost said.

Meanwhile, McDonald's new Happy Meal Toys is a dream come true and a way to help others. Most of the proceeds would be donated to the HAA. This New York-based nonprofit organization is crucial in supporting both up-and-coming and established artists.

The organization's website explained that as a main program of HAA, Artists Reflecting Renaissance (ARR) showcases the diverse talents and artistic expressions of Harlem's creative community.

This initiative aims to elevate the visibility of Harlem's cultural vibrancy by collaborating with the New Heritage Theatre Group and the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce. ARR co-produces notable cultural events at various local venues, offering valuable performance and exhibition opportunities for HAA members.

HAA organizes several interactive sessions throughout the year. These meetings foster networking among artists and provide updates on various topics. These include upcoming events, job opportunities, performances, and exhibitions.

In a statement, Tariq Hassan, McDonald's USA's Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer, reflected on the success of last year's Cactus Plant Flea Market Box.

"We unlocked the childlike joy of opening a Happy Meal box for fans of all ages," he said. Hassan also noted that customers desired to relive that classic childhood experience again.

This year, McDonald's introduces "The Kerwin Frost Box," a special edition of their Happy Meal, created in collaboration with Frost.

Starting Monday, December 11, the Kerwin Frost Box will be on sale at select McDonald's restaurants, available until supplies run out. For those unable to visit their nearby McDonald's, Frost will also offer McNugget Buddies-themed merchandise on his website beginning the same day.

Customers purchasing the Kerwin Frost Box can select a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac with fries and a soda. Each box includes one of six unique McNugget Buddy toys redesigned by Frost. Notably, a special Kerwin Frost McNugget Buddy toy features his distinctive pencil tattoo.
