Apple stopped signing iOS 7.1.2 since Friday.

If you're unhappy with the iOS 8's bugs you'll be forever stuck with it as Apple has already stopped digital signing its previous iOS 7.1.2.

Apple iOS 8 is compatible with iPhone 4s and above, iPad 2 and above, and iPad mini.

Apple developer Steven Troughton-Smith announced on Twitter that the Apple stopped signing iOS 7.1.2.

Apple digitally signs operating system versions to ensure customers aren't tricked into installing software that isn't legit, which is good for security and - hopefully - stability. The downside is that once Apple stops signing an OS version, there isn't an option for installing it any more outside of the jailbreak community, from MacObserver.

Apple iOS 8 was released more than a week ago; but the new iOS 8 had bugs and made some apps on previous iPhones unfunctional.

It was also reported that installing the iOS 8 on iPhone 4s might put the device at risk, and can slow down the smartphone's performance.

iPhone 5s had also issues on its comnectivity after updating to iOS 8.0.1 that disabled cell phone radios and Touch ID sensors in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, Apple left iOS 7.1.2 as an installation option. Now that iOS 8.0.2 is out and seems to be free of iPhone crippling bugs, Apple decided it was time to put iOS 7.1.2 to rest.

User who updated to iOS 8.0.1 could no longer downgrade to iOS 7.1.2 that clearly means that they.can only upgrade to iOS latest version 8.0.22 that Apple claims it already fixed the bugs.

It was advised for later versions of iphones and ipads to stat outdated to keep their decent performance.

But theres still a good news to iOS 7.1.2 users, Apple confirmed that there will be an upgrade of 7.1.3 this will will resolve drain battery issues, calendar application and some bug were fixed.

Cyberland reported that "the iOS 7.1.3 release date is on November 2014 and it would come with some peformance boosts that promises upto a 30% increase in some peformance boosts that promises upto a 30% increase in some apps."
