An Aldi customer asked the store to return one of her favorite products, and she received a positive response.

Mari, who goes by @yerimmiehh on X, reached out to Aldi by tagging the store in a post asking about the disappearance of her beloved item.

Salmon Burgers Return to Aldi Shelves

"Life just hasn't been worth living since AldiUSA took away my beloved salmon burgers," Mari wrote on social media.

The supermarket chain quickly responded, assuring her that the salmon burgers would return on shelves sooner than expected. "Well, it's time to start living it up again because they should be back in stores for you over the next couple of weeks, if not sooner!" Aldi announced.

The burgers have garnered significant attention not only for their taste but also for their health benefits, as highlighted by a TikTok user who praised them for having just 140 calories each.

Although the shopper did not mention a specific brand, the salmon burgers in question at Aldi are known as the Fremont Fish Market Salmon Burgers.

These burgers are available for purchase on InstaCart for $5.49 per package. They are offered in two tasty varieties: Teriyaki and Chipotle.

Previously, Aldi informed another user on X that the Fremont Fish Market Salmon Burgers are seasonal items typically available during the summer months.

These burgers are made from wild-caught salmon that is certified sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council. The main types of salmon used are pink and keta salmon.

(Oncorhynchus gorbuscha and/or Oncorhynchus keta).

Keta, also known as chum salmon, is often considered of lower quality than other varieties like Chinook; however, depending on the catch timing, it can still be quite flavorful. Moreover, unlike Chinook, the keta salmon population has remained relatively stable in recent years.

Versatile Cooking Options for Aldi's Salmon Burgers

Aldi's salmon burgers offer flexibility with four different cooking methods: grilling, baking in a conventional or convection oven, and pan frying. While the traditional method of cooking the stove is often favored for its convenience and consistently good results, grilling is also an excellent choice.

Preheat the grill to medium (350 degrees Fahrenheit) and cook the burgers for 4 to 4 1/2 minutes on each side. If baking in a conventional oven, set the temperature to 400 degrees, place the burgers on a lightly greased baking sheet, and bake for 7 to 8 minutes per side.

A convection oven requires a temperature of 350 degrees, with the burgers needing 7 to 7 1/2 minutes per side.

For pan frying, cook the burgers in a lightly oiled pan on low heat for 4 to 4 1/2 minutes on each side.

Microwave cooking is not recommended to achieve the best texture and flavor. Regardless of the method, ensure the burgers reach an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit for safe consumption.

The packaging emphasizes efforts to make the burgers "fully boneless," but as with any fish product, occasional bones may still be found. However, many consumers, including myself, have not encountered any bones in these burgers.
