Channing Tatum Movie ‘Jupiter Ascending’ Release Date Delayed, Co-Star Mila Kunis Shares The Physical Demands Of Making The Movie

Channing Tatum's most recent movie "Jupiter Ascending" release date has been moved to a later date, delay attributed to complex CGI production, according to reports.

The epic space movie features Channing Tatum "Jupiter Ascending" release date production talks began in 2009, with Jeff Robinov, President of Warner Bros and Lana and Andy Wachowski, Directors, decided to create a science fiction movie that would not only demonstrate a relatively new storyline but also impeccable CGI animation.

The Wachowski siblings are known for their work in "The Matrix" (1999), "V for Vendetta" (2006), and most recently, "Cloud Atlas" in 2012. The collaboration of the siblings have garnered numerous awards for their films, mostly in the scifi genre, Nebula Awards, Saturn Awards, and Hugo Awards are among their many accomplishments.

Channing Tatum is among the "Jupiter Ascending" cast members, including front runner Mila Kunis, Douglas Booth, and Sean Bean.

According to the film's official site, the story of "Jupiter Ascending" will be about "Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people's houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along - her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos."

Mila Kunis talks about her role in an interview with GQ, "It was one of the hardest things I've ever done and I know some of the hardest things that I think he's probably ever done. Just the pure exhaustion on the physical level."

Channing Tatum in "Jupiter Ascending" release date has been moved from a July 2014 premier to February 6, 2015. Dan Fellman of Warner Bros shares with Variety, "With the July release date, they were just not going to make it on time. A lot of the issue for us was getting it ready for the international release, since the foreign territories need additional time."
