Kenny Rogers Will Serenade Fans With Christmas Tour Starting Nov 12

Kenny Rogers has announced that he will headline a 25-date yuletide tour, starting on Nov. 12 in Niagara Falls, Ontario and ending on Dec. 23 at Westbury, New York.

Linda Davis will join the country singer as special guest on his "Christmas & Hits Through The Years" tour.

Fans will be in for a treat for Rogers will perform a mix of old favorites and Christmas-themed songs.

The set list will include "White Christmas," "O Holy Night," "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)" and originals songs "Mary, Did You Know."

Rogers will also serenade the fans with his big country classics "Lady," "The Gambler," "Islands In The Stream," "Lucille," "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love To Town, "She Believes In Me," and "Daytime Friends."

The country legend will also lend his vocals to Jim Brickman's original song "That Silent Night," which will appear on Brickman's album "On A Winter's Night: The Songs and Spirit of Christmas."

The album will be available exclusively at Amazon from Oct. 7. 

A portion of all album sales will benefit the "Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Fund", which supports research into a rare bone cancer called "osteosarcoma."

The fund is named after late budding artist Zach Sobiech, who passed away from the condition in 2013 after enjoying a viral hit with his song "Clouds".

Rogers was formally awarded as a new member of the Country Music Hall of Game in Nashville on October 2013.

He released his latest album "You Can't Make Old Friends" in the same month.

The duet with Dolly Parton has earned them a nomination in the musical event of the year category at November's CMA Awards.

Rogers received the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 47th Annual CMA Awards last year.

He had received three Grammys, 11 People's Choice awards, 18 American Music awards, and eight Academy of Country Music awards, and six CMA awards.
