Cleveland Cavaliers Roster, News & Schedule: Ray Allen Not Yet Ready To Sign With Cavs; Kyrie Irving Says Foot Injury Not Serious

Cleveland Cavaliers roster, news & schedule update indicated that Ray Allen has already decided to sign with the Cavs, but his agent denied reports that his client has already made up his mind.

Jim Tanner, Allen's agent, said in a statement that the veteran shooting guard has not yet signed with the Cavaliers, contrary to reports on Tuesday, while also reiterating that the sweet-shooting guard isn't even sure whether he will continue playing next season.

"Amid continued rumors and having spoken with Ray today, let me be very clear," Tanner said in a statement via a Cleveland Cavaliers roster, news & schedule update on RealGM. "Ray's position has not changed. Ray has not decided if he will play this season nor has he signed with the Cavaliers."

Allen, who averaged 9.6 points and 2.8 rebounds in 73 regular-season games with the Miami Heat last season, is reportedly considering retirement.

But in the event he decides to play again in the upcoming 2014-15 NBA season, sources indicated that he will consider signing with the Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, San Antonio Spurs or the Los Angeles Clippers.

Meanwhile, a Cleveland Cavaliers roster, news & schedule news indicated that Kyrie Irving was seen in a walking boot in Brazil on Wednesday, creating speculation that the star point guard sustained a serious foot injury.

Irving denied such reports, though, saying that he just tweaked his ankle and that the Cavaliers are just taking a cautious approach, which is the reason why their trainer decided to have him wear a walking boot.

Irving underwent X-Rays and several tests on Tuesday, according to ESPN, and all results were negative.

"Just a sprained ankle from practice, in a walking boot for precautionary reasons. Not that serious, I'm all good," Irving posted on his official Twitter account.

Irving and the Cavaliers are currently in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil where they will continue their preparation for the upcoming season.

The new-look Cavaliers will face the Miami Heat on Saturday, which will be LeBron James' first game against his former team since he decided to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers in July.
