Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza opens its second Maryland branch at the University of Maryland on Thursday, Oct. 16.

By just following Blaze Pizza on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, guests at the College Park location can celebrate Blaze Pizza's grand opening with them by making their "build-your-own" artisanal pizzas for free on Friday, Oct. 17 between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m.

Blaze Pizza is a fast-casual hip restaurant with a selection of items made by talented chefs.

Blaze Pizza is a fast emerging restaurant established in 2012 in Irvine, Calif. Famous for its custom-built artisanal pizzas, blood orange lemonade, freshly tossed salads and s'more pies.

The restaurant offers guest a unique experience by allowing them to make their own 11-inch pizzas from a wide selection of fresh ingredients for a $8 price.

The pizzas are then baked in an open-flame oven and fast-fire'd for 180 seconds by specially trained pizzasmiths.

The Blaze Pizza dough is exclusively concocted by Chef Bradford Kent, known as "The Pizza Whisperer" to develop their world-famous "light-as-air," thin crisp crust.

Aside from that, the restaurant also offer vegan cheese and gluten-free dough for guests with special diets.

"Our mission at Blaze is really simple - we're all about bringing the community a place where guests can connect, create and enjoy great pizza at crazy fast speed," said Jim Mizes, president & COO of Blaze Pizza.

"If you think about it, there hasn't been a good way to enjoy a made-from-scratch pizza without the wait. Now there is. We believe this will be a game-changer in town," Mizes added.

The new Blaze Pizza branch is located on the University of Maryland Campus (7419 Baltimore Avenue), at the corner of Baltimore and College Avenues.

Guests can come in starting from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. from Sundays through Thursdays and 11:00 a.m. to midnight during Fridays and Saturdays.
