After months of speculation, the 21-year-old singer Ariana Grande has finally confirmed that rapper Big Sean and she are a couple.
Grande has revealed in an interview with The Telegraph just this week that Big Sean is formally her boyfriend.
According to the Break Free singer, "He is one of the most amazing men in the whole world, and that includes my grandfather and my brother," The Way singer also commented about her current 26-year-old beau, "I think the world of him, and he's an amazing person. That's kind of all there is to it."
Grande started out as an actress who was first known when she did her own spinoff, Sam & Cat, along with actress Jeanette McCurdy. This was following her role on Nickelodeon series Victorious last 2009 where she played Cat Valentine. Grande is also a singer with vocal range often compared to that of Mariah Carey.
Grande appeared in the soundtrack Music from Victorious in 2011 and afterwards, signed a recording contract with Republic Records. Grande launched her debut studio album Yours Truly in 2013 which debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200.
The couple were spotted kissing a week ago while riding the Revenge of the Mummy ride at Universal Studios in Hollywood. Last October 7, BET's official twitter account read, "If you needed any more confirmation that Big Sean + Ariana Grande are going steady, here it is," along with a photograph of Grande and Big Sean kissing at the ride's front row seats.
Big Sean is a hip-hop recording artist who signed with Kanye West's Good Music last 2007 and a year after, with Def Jam Recordings. In 2011, he released his debut album Finally Famous. His second album Hall of Fame followed last 2013. Before dating Ariana Grande, Big Sean was formerly engaged to Glee actress Naya Rivera last year and split in April this year.
