Lindsay Lohan news reported that the actress recently attended the awarding ceremony for Women Of The Year 2014, and continues to snub haters of her current project, "Speed The Plow".

According to a report from Just Jared, the former "Mean Girls" star was present at the annual event held recently at London's InterContinental Park Lane Hotel.

Lindsay Lohan news said the former child star presented an award to a 17-year-old activist named Fahma Mohamed. The teen awardee was named Women of the Year's Outstanding Young Campaigner after spearheading a movement against Female Genital Mutilation.

Lindsay Lohan took to Instagram to share her experience during the Women Of The Year ceremony. She posted several snapshots from the event, with one captioned: "Women who stand together to make a difference in the world. Equality. Peace. Unite. Spread awareness."

During the event, the actress wore a navy Miu Miu dress, Givenchy jacket, and Cartier and Stephen Webster accessories, said the Just Jared report.

Although she posed for several photos during the event, Lindsay Lohan did not address news reports about how her West End debut, "Speed The Plow", has been receiving bad reviews.

According to a review from The New York Daily News, the former "Mean Girls" star "fumbled for words a few times" during the show's first night.

The Lindsay Lohan news narrated in detail: "Looking pale and nervous, Lohan managed to hang on through her small but critical role as Hollywood secretary Karen - but only with the aid of some crew members offstage who shouted lines at her when she blanked on what she was supposed to say."

The New York Daily News added: "(Lindsay Lohan) seemed to rely on a book she clutched as a prop that had some lines from the script scribbled in it."

A similar review was reported by The Daily Beast: "Lindsay Lohan only has one major speech in the David Mamet play that marks her West End debut. Unfortunately, she couldn't remember how it went."
