After AMC's success with comics adaptation as in "The Walking Dead", another Vertigo Comics is set for live action and dynamic duo Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are appointed to write and direct!

The collaboration of actor-writer Seth Rogen and screenwriter Evan Goldberg has proven efficient as the duo has released successful movies since "Superbad" in 2007.

Seth Rogen is a Canadian actor, but is first and foremost a stand-up comedian. He appeared on television first, in the short-lived series (but gained a cult following after) "Freaks and Geeks" with James Franco. His first work in films would be "Donnie Darko" in 2001. He proceeded to make box office hits such as "Knocked Up" (2007), "Pineapple Express" (2008), "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" (2008), and "Funny People" (2009).

Evan comments on their partnership in IMDB, "We always though the concept of the sidekick was the most offensive thing in the whole world. You're both running and getting shot at and, like, Robin's the sidekick? Why the hell is he the sidekick He's right in front of the gun too. "

Evan Goldberg is also Canadian, and has been writing for film and television. His first stint was a writer for the "Da Ali G Show", and he continued on as he collaborated with childhood friend Seth Rogen. The newest collaboration of Rogen and Evans is AMC's "Preacher" TV series. News on the team-up surfaces online.

"Preacher" TV series news reveals that AMC is adapting another comic book as they have with the success of "The Walking Dead". Vertigo's "Preacher" comics is created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon.
