With the recent release of DC and Marvel Studios' upcoming movies from 2016-2019, their fans are now in anticipation of the plot and the actors that will play their favorite superheroes.

DC's movies, however, are not all about the good guys. Their next film after Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, will be Suicide Squad which is all about the supervillains. The rumored line-up for the said movie, to be directed by Fury's David Ayer, is composed of Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, Vixen, Blockbuster, Jaculi, Mindboggler, Multiplex and Lex Luthor. Moreover, the actors who are reportedly in negotiations with DC and Warner Bros. for the roles are Ryan gosling, Will Smith, Tom Hardy and Margot Robbie. This is going to be Ayer's first comic book movie to direct as well.

When interviewed by Empire about his upcoming DC film, Ayer revealed it is going to be a "character-driven" piece. "I can say that [Suicide Squad is] a Dirty Dozen with supervillains. Then I can ask the question, 'Does a movie really need good guys?' " the director said. "I love the passion [comic-book fans] have for these characters and these worlds. I think there's something incredible about the comic genre and technology has finally caught up with pen and ink to render these fantastic worlds in a way that feels believable and visceral to audiences. It's a secular religion in that regards. The mythology that these characters represent - the idea of them as fallen gods on Earth - is intriguing to me. I can't wait to start exploring those corridors," Ayer added.

Furthermore, DC and Warner Bros. will definitely have all the resources needed for Suicide Squad, just like all DC movies in the past, contrary to Ayer's last film Fury. "Fury whetted my appetite for a bigger canvas and this idea of world creation," he explained in the interview. "You can do amazing things as a filmmaker if you have the proper tools, and those are time and money," Ayer remarked.

Stay with us for the update on Suicide Squad's cast and characters. The movie is scheduled to hit the big screens on August 2016.
