Olive Garden Menu: Restaurant Now Offering "2 for $25 Italian Dinner" Special

Olive Garden announced that it will be offering over 1,000 different varieties of meal combinations as part of its "2 for $25 Italian Dinner" discount, for a limited time only.

The "2 for $25 Italian Dinner" will consist of a three-course meal for two guests for $25, said a press release issued by Olive Garden on Tuesday, and with the variety offered, there can be over one thousand combinations to choose from, with pastas and salads alike.

"With Olive Garden's '2 for $25 Italian Dinner,' our guests can share an affordable, satisfying three-course Italian meal for only $25," Julie Elkinton, Olive Garden's senior vice president of culinary and beverage was quoted as stating for the press release. "With a variety of entrees, appetizers and desserts to choose from, guests can customize their meals for any taste and occasion -- whether it's a weeknight dinner or a special evening for two."

The first part of the "2 for $25 Italian Dinner" meal, noted the press release, will start with the unlimited supply of freshly baked breadsticks offered at the restaurant chain, as well as all-you-can-eat garden fresh salad or homemade soup. Then the pair dining can choose two entrees for their main courses, from six different types of pasta meals, like the new smoked mozzarella chicken, the new spaghetti with four cheese meat sauce and meatballs, the eggplant parmigiana, the five cheese ziti al forno, the ravioli di portabello, or the fettuccini Alfredo, listed the press release.

The third part of the meal could either be a choice of two appetizers from the menu, or to end the course with any of the desserts Olive Garden has to offer.

There are over 750 Olive Garden restaurants around the world, that employ more than 90,000 people, said the press release, and was accounted for bringing in $3.5 billion in annual sales. Olive Garden is a subsidiary of the Darden family of restaurants, which were named FORTUNEs' "100 Best Companies to Work For" in 2012, noted the press release, for the second year in a row.
