New Hampshire Burger King Breaks Senior Citizens' Parking Lot Habit For Boston Bus Trips

A Manchester, N.H. Burger King is putting its foot down on senior citizen women that park their cars in the restaurant's parking lot while on bus trips to Boston The New Hampshire Union Leader reported Monday.

Eight of the womens' were taken off the lot via a tow truck forcing the ladies to fork up $100 The Union Leader reported.

"Burger King should have put post-its under the windshield wipers (saying) don't do it again," Kathleen  Goulet a passenger on the trip told The Union Leader. "They couldn't have been oblivious to the fact we've been doing this all these years," Goulet told The Union Leader. "I think it was a dirty trick," Goulet told The Union Leader.  "All of us together, we can joke or laugh. But any of us by ourselves, it would have been a disaster," Goulet told The Union Leader.

"We look like we're customers," Goulet told The Union Leader."We thought we were doing Burger King a favor; their parking lot is never full," Goulet told The Union Leader.

"I felt horrible when they all showed up," the tow truck driver told The Union Leader. "They were sweet little old ladies," the tow truck driver told The Union Leader.

Senior citizens at Flushing Queens, N.Y McDonald's will be able to eat from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., different from the previous 20 minutes allotted following a truce last week with those at the restaurant location NBC New York reported Monday.

Signage will also be posted in Korean and Chinese so customers know about the new rule NBC New York reported.

Police officers were sent to the franchise restaurant chain's location following a call from the restaurant's general manager about senior citizen patrons reportedly staying at the location from early morning into night time hours The New York Times reported.

"It was more of a cultural miscommunication," Ron Kim, an Assemblyman who worked on the case said in a statement NBC New York reported.

Customers previously has 20 minutes to eat their meals, and drink their beverages according to The Times.
